Covid-19 Protocol

Lifespan takes the health and safety of our children and staff seriously during the Covid-19 situation and always. 

 

All staff members have been issued a personal supply of N95 Masks that exceed CDC reccomendations for face coverings to be worn. 

 

Below are guidelines for staff, children and families at Lifespan that must be adhered to until further mandates/restrictions are communicated directly from Governor Carney:

 

-All staff will wear masks when in the school

 

-All staff may remove their masks when they can safely socially distance 

  outside with their students

 

-No child under the age of 5 must wear a face covering

 

-Children ages 12 and older must wear a face covering in the school

 

-Hand sanitizer and frequent hand-washing is encouraged

 

-Drop off and pick up must occur outside of the school and no additional family members are permitted in the school unless enrolled

 

-All students and staff will have their temperature taken (must be 100.4 degress or lower) at arrival

 

-All students and staff will be asked a series of health-related questions before entering the school

 

-Students may be grouped together by family and in smaller class sizes

 

-Students and staff will be encouraged to maintain 6 feet distance apart when possible

 

-Children will be given individual supplies, manipulatives and toys when possible

 

-Children will not be allowed to use the sensory table, play-doh, dress up clothes and other cloth toys

 

-The school is sanitized throughout the day and at the end of each day

 

-No outside vendors, entertainers or visitors will be permitted in the building
